Michelle is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant that can help therapists improve their skill or pursue EMDRIA Certification or EMDRIA Approved Consultant status.

EMDR Consultation This can be helpful for therapists working with trauma, anxiety, or abuse recovery to find support for case consultation or to strengthen their therapeutic skills. Clinical consultation is also available for private practice therapists or owners who would benefit from collaboration.

Who can join EMDR Consultation towards EMDR Certification?

Participants who have completed EMDRIA-Approved Basic Training (including 10 hours of consultation) are eligible to join. Participants can use EMDR consultation towards EMDRIA Certification, or to enhance their use of EMDR with peer consultation. I work with fully licensed therapists or associates (LPC-A, LMSW, etc) as long as you are under clinical license supervision plans and have completed EMDRIA-Approved Basic Training. I offer a free intro call to answer questions and see if we are a good fit.

Do you accept Consultants-in-Training and provide consultation of consultation?

I provide consultation of consultation for EMDR Certified Therapist pursuing their Approved Consultant status. This is provided in individual consultation or group format. A new cohort group is forming now for Consultant-in-Trainings seeking their Approved Consultant.

EMDRIA is currently revising standards for the CIT process and new CITS will have to wait to start the process with the new standards in April 2026. CITs who filed their letter of intent prior to this change will continue with current requirements. I offer a free intro call to answer questions and see if we are a good fit.

Current Requirements for CITs:

• 20 hours of consultation of consultation (by an EMDRIA Approved Consultant- like me!)

• Provide consultation to at least 5 consultees

• Meet the EMDRIA requirements of facilitating EMDR therapy at least 300 hours with at least 75 clients

• Complete 12 hours of EMDRIA Approved CEUs

Do you offer consultation for non-EMDR clinicians?

Yes- I provide clinical consultation for clinicians who are not trained in EMDR. I have experience offering consultation for therapists offering therapy intensives or extended sessions, and therapists navigating divorce in private practice.
