Professional & Education Background

After serving a year in New Zealand with local non-profits and faith communities, Michelle discovered her desire to foster growth for those trying to heal from past experiences and discover their way forward. For over 10 years, Michelle worked for New Friends New Life providing program leadership, individual and group therapy, and case management services to women healing from sex trafficking or sexual exploitation.

Michelle received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from McMurry University. She earned her Masters in Social Work with a specialty in direct practice with children and families from University of Texas at Arlington.

Michelle grew up in East Texas, and moved to Dallas in 2008 to pursue her graduate degree. She is an enneagram 7 and enjoys playing outside with her two sons, reading a good book, streaming funny shows, or enjoying good conversation and food with friends.
